◆ Who we are

An engineering force behind the nation's landmarks

The 34 Engineer Construction Brigade traces its origins to the Special Works Organization (SWO), raised at Dampara, Chattogram on 26 August 2001. On 11 June 2017 the SWO was reorganised into the 34 Engineer Construction Brigade. As a specialist engineering construction formation of the Bangladesh Army, the Brigade delivers large-scale national infrastructure — highways, flyovers, railway overpasses, marine drives and strategic roads — to the highest standards of engineering discipline.
